Aston Martin DB9 Coupe – 2006

The Aston Martin DB9 model, unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, represented a new generation of GT cars from Aston Martin.

At first glance, this model, which replaced the DB7, is striking for its elegant four-door coupe body, typical of Aston.

Its dimensions are 4,710 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,270 mm in height. The new-generation aluminum VH chassis, borrowed from the Vanquish model, combined with lightweight body panels, allowed for a reduction in vehicle weight while increasing rigidity.

Brief description of the Aston Martin DB9 Coupe

From the Vanquish model, it also inherited a 5.9-liter DOHC V12 engine. This boosted engine produces 456 hp with a torque of 569.3 Nm. Rear-wheel drive and a Transaxle transmission make the car very enjoyable to drive, recalling Aston Martin’s glorious sporting history.

It’s impossible not to mention the “inverted” tachometer and the bamboo trim on the dashboard, offered as an option. The model has many pleasant and thoughtful details that once again confirm that Aston Martin is rightfully considered one of the best manufacturers of high-class cars.
